HCC Outstanding Alumni to be honored December 5, 2008

Tampa – Hillsborough Community College (HCC) will honor 40 Outstanding Alumni at the 2007 Outstanding Alumni Awards Luncheon Wednesday, December 5, 2007 on the HCC Dale Mabry Campus.

The Outstanding Alumni Luncheon is the inaugural event celebrating the College’s 40th Anniversary.

“This is a distinguished list of accomplished individuals,” comments HCC President, Dr. Gwendolyn W. Stephenson.  “We are very proud of all of our alumni and of the part that the College was able to play in their development”.

Hillsborough Community College serves more than 40,000 students on campuses on Dale Mabry Highway, in Ybor City, Plant City, Brandon and the SouthShore Center will open this summer.  HCC also serves students at learning centers on MacDill Air Force Base and in Ruskin.  HCC was the recipient of the 2006 Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) Equity award.
