Rebuilding Our Community…Together.

WHO WE ARE

AIU Foundation was created to promote community outreach.

Our goal is to foster civic pride to the youth and adults of Hampton Roads and the surrounding areas; working with various city officials in execution of initiatives.

Dr. Jarrod L. Best Sr., the founder of AIU Foundation, believes in keeping God first and achieving His expectations of being the head and not the tail as specified in Deuteronomy 28:13. Pushing past one’s comfort zone to get to the next level in life is essential to execution of success, and this notion explains why “Average is Unacceptable.”

Average is Unacceptable Foundation, Inc has a passion for the community and saw a need in the Hampton Roads area for developing young athletes into viable members of society not through just sports but academics and outreach.

AIU will be accountable to the community as a non-profit organization that perpetuates change and a culture shift in athletes and parents giving them meaningful educational opportunities to expand their horizons with various academic methods.
